We are an Argentine based vendor that has brought the flavours of Asado to the streets of the East Midlands and beyond.  Our passion for pop-up quality is to serve hungry foodies the finest in Argentine cuisine. We are Tanya and Stuart, a dynamic duo with a rich tapestry of international experiences.

Tanya, a globetrotter who has journeyed through countries like Japan and Italy, brings a wealth of cultural influences to Gaucho Stu. Having worked as an Activities Manager for cruise lines, she found her footing on land, ready to embark on a new adventure. 

Stuart, on the other hand, spent 11 years in Buenos Aires, where the flames of his passion for cooking over open fire turned into a love affair with the art of asado. After sailing the high seas with Royal Caribbean, circumstances brought Tanya and Stuart together off the coast between LA and Mexico during the challenging times of the pandemic.

Now, anchored on land for nearly two years, Gaucho Stu is the manifestation of their culinary skills and shared dream. It's more than just a pop-up; it's a flavourful journey that invites East Midlands residents to savour the authenticity and richness of Argentine street food.
